Wesley Hall, organist, performs work by American Indigenous composer Connor Chee

  • First Religious Society Unitarian Church 26 Pleasant Street Newburyport, MA, 01950 United States (map)

This organ concert fits in with our semester work with Indigenous Composers from the Americas. We already performed Raven Chacon’s Drum Grid in November at the Mall Frog Pond. And some of our students are learning pieces for piano by Conner Chee. Come listen to one of his organ pieces! After the concert, we will have a chance to meet the organist Wesley Hall, learn about the organ at the Unitarian Church, and look at Conner Chee’s score. How does an organ score look different from a piano score?
